Board of Directors
During the 40th Annual General Assembly hosted in Thunder Bay, Ontario November 26th -27th, 2011, the Ontario Native Women's Association (ONWA) held elections for board positions that were elected in October 2010 and that held 1-year terms. There were 8 positions in total (excluding the Grandmother's Council.)
ONWA’s Board consists of 16 members; 4 directors including 1 youth representative in each of the 4 regions. The Board is lead by an Executive Committee and is also supported by a Grandmother’s Council. ONWA is very pleased to introduce its 2011-2012 Board of Directors:
