As a registered ONWA local, you will receive all of the support and benefits only a provincial representative organizatoin dedicated to Aboriginal, Metis and Inuit women can provide.
It is our objective to improve the voice of Aborigninal, Metis and Inuit women within the province of Ontario through the provision of supportive platforms like locals establishment, and membership programming that provides unique opportunities to deveop the strong, capable leadership needed to voice our concerns provincially and nationally internally. We understand that to do so, we must work together with all of you to ensure that our diverse needs are supported and voiced to those who need to hear.
Aboriginal women and their families are the focus of our organization, and we truly believe that the strength of our peoples lay in the foundation of the family at the center of which resides our Aboriginal, Metis and Inuit women. The programs that we deliver and the issues we advocate for support the wellbeing of the individual, family and the community.
Whether you establish a new ONWA local within your community, or become an individual member or affiliate member, your support is greatly appreciated. We cannot do what we do without your support and engagement. Miigwetch!
